The story behind the site

I am Talha Shah, the founder and editor of Jobzkdf. After more than a decade in insurance and personal finance, I noticed that families rarely get to see how a cover amount is worked out. They are handed a number and asked to sign. Jobzkdf is my attempt to put the working back in front of you.

What we offer

You will find eight calculators covering needs, policy type, premiums, income replacement, funeral costs, beneficiary shares, mortgage protection and the price of waiting, plus guides that turn each idea into everyday language.

Our promises

• Your inputs are calculated locally and never saved.
• Articles are revisited often and corrected when you point out a problem.
• No commissions, and no policy is ever pushed.

Who we are not

Jobzkdf is not an insurer, broker or adviser. We may display advertising to pay for hosting and writing, but advertisers cannot shape our maths or opinions.
